Hailing from the Twelveswood, Aspen comes from a moderately sized family. Her father is a carpenter and her mother a healer while her elder brother trains and cares for chocobo. Her elder sister is a housewife while her younger is a seamstress. From an early age, Aspen joined her father and brother on their hunts and became proficient with a bow. Eventually she decided she'd rather see new places as an adventurer for hire rather than stay in the Twelveswood, so she headed to Gridania first to join the Archer's Guild and look for odd jobs. As she was clearing out trouble in the Twelveswood, she was found by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, who took note that she possessed the Echo; a gift from Hydaelyn.
